This Pyrex French Press has served many an excellent cup of coffee and ready for its next assignment. No chips or rough usage scars but I live near the Gulf of Mexico and everything that has steel in succumbs to the salt in the air in my experience. There is evidence of this on the outside of the carafe between the glass & steel. Please see photos. It still makes an excellent cup of coffee!
