COMPATIBLE TO USE WITH YOUR DOMED SHAPE LID - 5 PARTS: Cross, Filter & Spiral Plates, 7.75” Plunger Rod with Small Closed Nut and Solid SS Top Flat Knob - and NO LID. Use your own lid to repair your loyal French press; Fits a 3.75" wide carafe with your DOME lid perfectly and will do a great job filtering your coffee.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE - Take apart your old plunger & thread the rod into the hole on you domed lid, attach the new knob onto rod's top. Next, at the other end of the rod, start the finely threaded nut with round closed top facing the lid – if it gets “cross threaded” it could strip, so try to line it up correctly.
ADD YOUR 3PC FILTER SEET - Spiral plate first (closest to the top), mesh filter in middle and cross plate below, poke the stem of the cross plate up through the mesh and spiral plates and screw the end of the rod into the internally threaded stem. Turn the closed nut to rest on your spiral plate. Good as new!
