Melior French Press Coffee Maker Original Owner - Mint This is one of the top versions of Melior. 8 Cups is the measure, more like espresso size cups. I use mine to make one or 2 regular size cups at a time. I never purchased these with the black rubber top, the best ones were always the metal top piece. I loved making my coffee using Melior, and you still see this used in Europe and here in the USA by coffee lovers and in some top restaurants. Great if you prefer a strong cup of coffee. Currently, I mostly use a drip coffee maker so only use my Melior from time to time and offer it during special dinners. I had a hard time finding the best ones, so picked up a few extras when I found them. I am selling my extra 2 pieces... this one, in mint condition, and a brand new one as well (see separate listing). Even then, in the 1980's the best ones were expensive. Kept around 40 years in my temperature controlled home. A rare opportunity for the coffee lover.
